Anytime you go there now it's just a 404 error. Pretty sad, a lot of stuff is still on there.
Yup
Yeah.
uhh there was already a thread on this
rip shitty porn themes and music downloads i spent many afternoons fucking with sweps and a handful of "recent files" though, was always something interesting to see on there.
Maybe there's a backup of the downloads on it somewhere?
I hate to say it, but the nostalgia aside; the site is practically useless now. I used to use it all the time, but with the advent of the more perfected workshop, it's usefulness is nil.

Not by much once you get the hang of the tools, but it's not as easy as just zipping everything up and uploading.
Also, you've got to worry about size restraints more.

The way the workshop works, it feels like when your phone is syncing contacts with your account. It's slow, it's hard to tell if anything is actually working, and there's more room for error. It was nice when you could just unzip a bsp and update stuff by copying it into your addons folder. Now it has to be done in-game and therefore is so much slower.
But what about all the "KILL BREEN" saves?
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/aa0bgajg44l6r/Gmod_Stuff I think that's all. Not mine.
If only I could figure out how to upload maps to the gmod workshop. I have a few maps that people seemed to like. some of them go reuploaded to the workshop (without my permission, not cool yo)
what is garrysmod.org
It was superior to the Workshop imo. I liked being able to see all the exact files an addon was including so I could troubleshoot and pick and choose if some conflicted.
