You also might look at this one. it's 1" smaller, but its full 1080P, and better reviews

I have a Hannspree HSG1067. It didn't cost much more than 200$ I think, and I got it at Best Buy. It's excellent. 1920x1080, the picture is beautiful. VGA and HDMI inputs.
The only problems: the speakers are shit, so be prepared to have your own. Also, if you leave it on Sleep mode too long, it won't turn back on, so you have to unplug it and plug it back in. But I've had it for months now and no major problems.
Also, good lord, people still have CRT monitors?
Wait till the new year and January Sales, also what gpu you got?

Get the Asus you posted. They are some great monitors. It uses ASCR which means the colors are more warmer, and better color quality, etc.

While I don't know much about monitors, I do know that Home Movies was one of the greatest animated series of all time.
Ok so I narrowed it down
I can either get the 24" ASUS VW246H, 23" SAMSUNG 2343BWX, or the 23" LG W2353V-PF
Which one do you guys think is right?
2343BWX for sure.
[editline]03:19PM[/editline]
I wouldn't even consider the LG, it's basically the 2343BWX without the high resolution.
[editline]03:19PM[/editline]
And it costs more.
Asus vw246h
Asus vw246h
Why? It costs more and only for an HDMI port and speakers, and it uses more power than the 2343BWX.
2343BWX
Better resolution.
So I should get the 2343BWX with a HDMI converter cable?
Why do you need hdmi?
Just want to try my PS3 on the monitor with HDMI.
Ahhh then you will need one.
Had a look at Dell monitors, or LG Flatrons?
LG Great for price,
Dell Great for pushing the limits. But pricey so be prepared to fork out next weeks sanity money.

Well I have the Asus VW246H and it is a great monitor. If you can get that I recommend it fully!
So this would be for me?
That would be fine, and the 2343BWX supports HDCP so it won't lock your PS3 out.
