Improved alt-tabbing? Yeah I doubt that
That is really sweet, actually. Hopefully this will mean that fullscreen users can alt-tab without crashing from time to time. Also, this update broke GMod on its birthday. :saddowns:
Breaks gmod, do not let it update. I turned off updating for all those games (I haven't quit gmod yet)
Undocumented change, broke Garry's Mod. Well played Valve, well played.
Dang it Bobby
Dang it Bobby
Read it in Hanks voice. And hurray, improved alt+tabbing?
It is easier to alt-tab if you don't use fullscreen, but instead used the launch options to launch in a window, set it to your screen's resolution and disable the border. Yay, better performance.
The improved alt+tabbing is something I've been looking forward to for years. Now if only they would fix Source from freezing every-time you join a server...
Let's see if it makes the game run better on my poor laptop.
Improved alt-tab handling under Windows Vista and Windows 7
I hope this fixes windowed mode for me: Sometimes I launch the game and the FPS is limited to around 15 because it think it's minimized and then when I actually minimize the game the FPS goes back up to normal, the whole thing is backwards :suicide:
Just got into the gmod beta so horray!

If this fixes the odd texturing and reflection issues, it's late by like 7 years.
Uhh, I don't know where the appropriate place to put this would be, but....what? Half Life just apparently downloaded a 420MB update?

[editline]29th November 2011[/editline] Nope.
Nobody plays these games other than TF2, yet they update them for nothing and break the number 1 source mod
Nobody plays these games other than TF2, yet they update them for nothing and break the number 1 source mod
Generally lots of the valve games use the same engine version so it's such a simple fix that they do it in each game using the same version. It would be stupid of them not to go ahead and fix the issue in all of them.
Dang it Bobby
Dang it Garry, you made me spit out my coffee
Nobody plays these games other than TF2, yet they update them for nothing and break the number 1 source mod
I like Day of Defeat Source more these days than Team Fortress 2. :c
aw well i guess i will have to copy over my backedup gcfs and play offline until this is fixed
I like Day of Defeat Source more these days than Team Fortress 2. :c
That game has like no content. And what was that HL update someone had?
