I just purchased my RAM and my Processor but I still haven't decided on a motherboard. I want to go with one that supports the new ATI cards seeings how they are the most bang for your buck. I was looking at combo deals on newegg but all of them were shit so I came to you wise PC Building section. I've been perusing this section everyday for about two weeks trying to get up to speed on all the latest parts because I haven't upgraded since the 8800GT was the best bang for your buck. Here are the parts I have now: -My old power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371004 -My old case (idk the name or brand and can't find it anywhere) - i5-750 - x2 2 Gig RAM 1333Mhz 240 PIN, DDR3 I don't have a videocard yet. My budget is a little bit less than 300.
Are you planing on crossfiring? if so, gigabyte p55ud4p If not, gigabyte p55**** just get the cheapest one.
I want to Crossfire but I can't really find a job right now.

I already have RAM. Says so in OP. [editline]07:02PM[/editline] The P55 UDP4 only supports x8 in crossfire. Can I get a second opinion?

Pretty much any 1156 board by MSI will do, since they have been proven in benchmarks and tests (OCWorkbench) to dominate their ASUS and Gigabyte counterparts in every category, especially overclocking.

My Asus P7P55D has done me well for a good while, I suggest it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131404

EVGA P55 FTW is the best board for overclocking, and seems to be within maximum you would want to pay for any 1156 board. Get that, or get a MSI GD80/GD65, EVGA P55 boards (they're all pretty good).
x8/x8 is definitely better than x4
I know you said you wanted to go with ATI but this motherboard is going for a nice price :P http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Motherboards/Socket+775+%28Intel%29/XFX+nForce+790i+Ultra+3-Way+SLI+Motherboard+?productId=38413 (supports 3 way sli)

I only know some gigabyte boards throw 16x on both pci-e 1 and 2 during crossfire
