I live in the UK and want to get a Nvidia card under £100. It's an upgrade from a Nvidia 8500GT (I regret buying this card so much) and these look like strong options:
512MB Asus GTS 250

Any recomendations for cards or any reason not to purchase any of these two? Also which is better out of those two?

Get a 4870.

And don't get the 250. It's just renamed version of the 9800GTX+ if I remember correctly.

Was the 9800GTX+ not good?
Why get a 9800GTX+/GTS 250 when you get can a 4870 that costs just about the same and runs circles around them?
Was the 9800GTX+ not good?
if you ike paying10-0 bucks more for the same performance a 4850 will give you

GTX 280? umm...
512MB Asus GTS 250
512MB Gainward GTS 250
I'm pretty sure that says 250. Besides that still is overpriced for what you're trying to sell.

better?
How good is your power supply?
Asus one is better because it's asus
Quit trolling.
ASUS is good but why get ASUS when gainwards better?
Gainward puts Digital PWMs on their graphics cards, which allows for insanse overclocks compared to other manufactures anyway. G

From what i can see it has
200Mhz more on the memory clock,
25Mhz on the Core Clock.
Accelerated Physics Processing
Accelerated Video Transcoding
But hey, 200Mhz for £10 isn't really worth it.

Is there more than one +12V?
Is there more than one +12V?
On the side of the PSU, it doesn't say there is.
What am I supposed to be looking for?
Don't do it. Especially if it came with a cheap case.
Either get a weaker card or buy a new power supply as well.
I'll get a new power supply aswell. recommendations? UK websites please.
I was thinking this one: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124922/
Not sure about arctic power, save up some more money and this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/150596 psu from a reputibale brand. Or an ocz stealthXtream 500W but they're out of stock on ebuyer.
I think i'll go for the coolermaster one lemongrapes put up.
Will it handle:
4gb Corsair RAM
XFX 4870 512mb
Asus M2N-SLI
500gb Samsung Spinpoint Harddrive
LG DVDRW
The Artic Power one seems to be getting really good reviews though
