I am building a PC for a friend, but i have no idea what is good, so i need some help.
I live in Norway, an i am going to find the parts on www.komplett.no , but just give me the names of the parts.
We need everything but monitor, keyboard and mouse, and we need everything but that, including the OS.
The budget is about 1800$, or about 10500 Norwegian Kroner.
I don't know Norwegian prices, but this should fit in
i5 2500K
P67 motherboard (get one with x8 slots)
HAF 922 or equivalent
4GB RAM, 8GB if you need it
GTX 570/6870, whichever's cheaper
750W PSU from a decent maufactuerer
DVD burner/Blu-ray drive of your choice
1TB F3, and a SSD
Honestly I wouldn't advise that you spend any more than this; if it's $1300, great, spend $1300 and save up the rest for upgrades.
Umm, there was two GTX 570's, one that said this:
MSI GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX
PCI-Express 2.0, "Twin Frozr II", GDDR5, 2xDVI, native-miniHDMI, HDCP, CUDA
And one that said this:
MSI GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX
PCI-Express 2.0, GDDR5, 2xDVI, native-HDMI, HDCP, Graphics Plus, CUDA
Wich one should i choose?
whatever's cheaper
And the motherboard, is this the one?
ASUS Sabertooth P67, Socket-1155
ATX, P67, DDR3, 2xPCIe(2.0)x16, CFX & SLI, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0, FW, BT, EFI
?
And the graphics cards are both equally cheap
And would this work for PSU?
Chieftec Super Series 750W PSU
ATX 12V V2.3, 80 Plus, Modular, 2x 6pin+2x 6+2pin PCIe, 8x SATA, 140mm
If you can find it, go for the P67A-GD55, it's my personal favorite.
I've never heard of Chieftec, try to find an alternative
