• How do I approach this situation? [Dealing with an asshole]
    4 replies, posted
Alright so Friend A is lending me a camera to use for an event that I'm planning on filming with Friend B but I was told that Friend B told Friend A to not bring the camera for me. Friend B intentionally told Friend A to not bring the camera for me to use to film an event with Friend B. I've already asked Friend A to bring the camera, which Friend A will. At this point I know that Friend B is being an asshole by doing that. I believe this is true because Friend A told me and we (including Friend B) are actually friends and such. We enjoy photography and gaming and such. I don't know why Friend B would do such a thing because we discussed how we are going to collaborate to record the event. How can I approach this or talk to Friend B about such accusation, or why he did it? We are recording the event tomorrow. What will happen is Friend A will bring the camera for me tomorrow and Friend B might be surprised. Thank god I called Friend A to remind to bring the camera. Maybe the accusations will be fully accurate when Friend B get's pissed at Friend A (not in a bad way) and I'm there. Friend B has been an asshole before. Theories: Friend B doesn't want me to record the event, want's me to be pissed off, some shit like that. Not the first time. So what do? I don't want this friendship to break, unless it actually has to.
I don't get what Friend B has against this event. Especially if Friend B already agreed to help with it. i say ignore it and let it play out.

Just ask friend A to bring the camera and forget about the fact that friend B tried to get him not to. If he acts surprised by passive-aggressive and say something like, "gee, I'm REALLY glad friend A was able to let me borrow this!"
I will be passive aggressive like never before!
