About a month ago I was hanging out with a friend. We somehow gone on the topic of synesthesia, and I started describing to her what the visualizations I see with music look like. She replied with a story about one time she was high with some friends, and they went out for coffee. She said how she had poured some cream into her coffee and (due to being high) the pattern looked very, well, indescribable. Now I've never done been high. Regardless, I had a feeling I knew what the pattern looked like, based on past experiences with serious fevers as a young child. So the next day I started attempting to draw what it would look like. To get the finished product was about two weeks of continuous casual work here and there. I never feel like I'm done with this stuff. There is very soft colouring amongst the outer veins, between the black veins, but most of them didn't show after scanning. Regardless, I hope you like it! It's really nice. You should clean it up in a digital program or something, giver the lines a crisper and cleaner look. I have synesthesia too so it's pretty interesting to some synesthesia-inspired work by others.
I actually really love it the way it is. It'd be great to see more stuff like this if you have any.
Heh, that's funny, the only way I could get into this kind of detail is with weed and coffee :v: Great job
I see some broken arrows, a sword in stone and what appears to be holy hand grenades. Do you watch a lot of Monty Python?

Whenever I see this thread I think about brewing weed into your coffee...

Heard of Pot Chocolate, and Weed Tea, but never Weed Coffee. Anyway, nice picture. I often draw random lines like this all over, I think I should try something more organized like yours
