Post your favorite first person shooter below.
I used to fucking love TimeSplitters and Perfect Dark.
But now, just until I played Half-Life recently, it takes the NO.1 spot.
STALKER
Counter-Strike Global Offensive
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Chivalry (Does this count?)
Off the top of my head
Halo 1
Halo 2
Quake 3 Arena... help me to build a new community for this game... :D
[del]Minecraft[/del]
Left 4 Dead
STALKER and Battlefield 2
Either Descent or Doom. Nothing beats the classics.
CS 1.6
BC2 Vietnam
Jurassic Park: Trespasser
Half-Life (the first one).
Half-Life
F.E.A.R.
And many many more.
And recent released game
ArmA 3.
Doom, especially with the brutaldoom mod. Most satisfying yet challenging shooter, such a brilliant classic.
all I ever hear about doom anymore is 'oh you can't play doom without brutaldoom' whatever happened to non-brutaldoom gameplay?
Unreal Tournament (Any of'em)
Quake 3: Arena
Games like that are what shootings about, to me. Accurate and diverse weaponry, no momentum systems or hindering physics, fluid and high pace gameplay.
Honorable mention for Enemy Territory: Return to Castle Wolfenstein, that games a gem.
Painkiller.
czero
gmod
Unreal Tournament (Any of'em)
2004 more so than 99. 2004 kept the style of 99 with a fair few positives, but also added the vehicles that really acted like just another weapon. And it worked perfectly.
Who cares about 2003 and 3 though.
Banjo Tooie's multiplayer.
Saint's Row 3 if you have that First Person mod installed.

Have you played brutaldoom?
i don't have a particular fav so i'll list the ones i think are fucking great and could all compete for the title of "The Best" in their own fields
D00M 1 & 2, both vanilla and Brütal
Serious Sam Encounters and BFE
Quake 1 and 3
Half-Lifes
Halo
Battlefield, BF Heroes doesn't count
PAIIIIIIIIIINKILLERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
CS games, all of them
Crysis and Warhead
Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2
i think that covers it
Arma (1 &2, 3.. we'll have to see about that)
Battlefield
Ghost Recon (the fucking old ones ofcourse duh)
Yes, I have. I enjoy it, but it's not 'totally necessary' and definitely not the best thing ever to happen to Doom. It's okay, but definitely not the holy grail of WADs. It's also pretty full of gimmicks used in plenty of other mods already.

was talking about this but haven't f5'ed so sorry fo that
TimeSplitters, 2, Future Perfect.
Half Life 2
F.E.A.R
Perfect Dark
Serious Sam HD when talking purely about the FPS aspect. The original Half-Life is also pretty good, but dated (nowadays it looks like shit, at least it plays well, unlike HL2)
Every Half-Life
Doom, Serious Sam, Quake, Unreal.
Borderlands (both of them)
STALKER
Metro
TF2 is pretty fun
duke nukem 3d
shadow warrior
quake series
half-life series
doom
deus ex
Deus Ex HR
Borderlands 2
Team Fortress 2
And many years back I used to play the living TITS out of Starsiege Tribes. All those game modes were amazing. I used to remember playing a gamemode called ModX which was a sandbox gamemode. Shit was crazy fun.
