Remember the good games that used to be around like Diablo and Fallout 1 & 2. I don't know why but lately new fps games and other new games are just boring and I have begun playing older games from the 90's even alot of DOS and Apple ][ games. Anyone else feeling the same way that games used to be much better than they are now. I don't know but the only thing that keeps popping into my head is that it used to be great when TEN was around and everything was so new, now everything is just regular and routine. EDIT: If you could mention your favorite game that you used to play that would be awesome. ;)
I didn't start playing video games until late 1998.
Even so, Games were much better than they are now.
Not at all. You only like those games because its nostalgic, not because they are better.
I remember playing Goldeneye with my bro. Best game ever. e_e
Crash bandicoot. Croc. Super mario bros.
Fuck yeah, Crash Bandicoot.
Not at all. You only like those games because its nostalgic, not because they are better.
Yeah, Maybe your right. Still, you have to admit those games were/still are badass. Remember Duke Nukem games?
Even so, Games were much better than they are now.
They certainly are less buggy; when the internet was less common in the household, a developer who released a buggy game would be slated because there was no way to get patches out to everyone like there are these days. Now with the internet around, releasing buggy games has become far more acceptable because it's easier to fix them.
Modern games are better imo
Yeah, Maybe your right. Still, you have to admit those games were/still are badass. Remember Duke Nukem games?
He was such a pimp.
My favorite game was Unreal. The original one. The graphics seemed so advanced back then. The gun that shot the flaming balls was my favorite weapon. I just shot all the civillians. 2 reasons: #1: They looked like zombies (I'd shoot people who are running at me screaming covered in blood). #2: THEY WONT FUCKIN STOP YELING FKJIHDGDGASJSSGHSGHRDTFD:smithicide:
I have awesome memories of playing Goldeneye with my cousins. Oh, and Duke NUkem 64 or w/e.
Fuck yeah Spyro.
I'm sorry, but trying to solve a puzzle that involves mile-and-a-half-long lakes of lava, platforms that collapse in 2 seconds of you standing on them, and invisible walls that keep you so boxed in I actually felt claustrophobic, just isn't my idea of a game i'd like.

looks amazing

Spyro was a mind fuck. I have terrible memories of trying to beat it on the gameboy but every time I played it I never made any progress. Yet, I still played it.
