• A 4K Apple TV set-top box may come out this fall

The old Apple TV was priced ridiculously, so I'm not exactly hyped for this one. They still go for $90+ used.
I'd consider buying this just so I can stop using the god-awful apps that my LG 4K TV has. The youtube app doesn't even support 4K, and it's pretty buggy and slow. Not to mention Apple's UI probably being vastly superior to that of most smart TVs...
