I'm not suprised. The ending set itself up for a sequel
If they expand on the open-world nemesis system, and make it much harder (and/or make difficulty more customizable), then I'm absolutely sold.
This was a great game just because of the nemesis system. Too Bad WB shot itself in the foot by trying to control the Reviews.
And I have no real objections to this. I just hope they don't fuck it up. There's always the chance that, somewhere along the line, someone could fuck it up.
Also, considering how Shadow of Mordor ended, I strongly suspect that one of the additions we'll see in Shadow of Mordor 2 will be [sp]Ring Powers, since Talion has plans to forge a new Ring of Power.[/sp] And if they do go down that route, I would not object to it.
Also also, if Shadow of Mordor 2 goes beyond Mordor, maybe we'll be able to brand and manipulate Men too?

Would be cool. The brief touches on the philosophy of mind control were kinda wasted when your enemy is an army of brutes basically bred to be brainless.
