Hey, currently got:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
8 GB RAM.
and a crappy version of GTX560 SE Palit.
It runs basic games, but games like Crysis 3 it runs like shit, can't handle Watchdogs even.
Any cheap GPU's out there for under 120 EUR / 150 Dollah ?
Preferably from amazon or so.

How much clearance does your case have for a graphics card?
What graphic settings are you hoping to play with at what resolution?
What model is your power supply unit?
Where are you located?
Aside from your current GPU your FX-8350 is also holding you back.

I got this recently from best buy, runs just about everything I've tried (but I dunno about crysis 3) at 60fps

woops, this is what I have, but I don't think there's that much of a difference

That makes alot of difference.

Well mainly I want to play at my resolution: 1920x1080 that's primary target. the rest of settings don't matter much (but apparently Crysis 3 even with all lowest settings and my resolution feels low fps).
It's a normal sized case (not huge, not small), not sure how to specify it).
It has 750W PSU.
Located in Ireland.
Also how is FX-8350 holding it back? I thought it's a pretty decent CPU? (8 cores @ 4.0 Ghz)

Might look into that.
Price seems decent too.

The FX-8350 is terrible at single threaded/core performance. A lot of games still strongly rely on this.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/LHAC3ep.png[/img_thumb]
A modern Core i3 can actually outperform it in this situation. A Core i3 also consumes a hell of lot less electricity whilst doing so.
A 750 Ti (one that doesn't require a power cord) is certainly what you should be looking at within your budget range. Don't expect it to max out recent games though.

Well yeah my main reason I got FX-8350 is because I sometimes do heavy 3D rendering which now is flying and takes just seconds.
The FX-8350 is actually fine for most games. Its pretty good, it just sucks alot of power and is overshadowed by intels i5 and i7 series.
However, it will still run crysis on max if you have a good GPU.
For the GPU. I would wait and save up a bit and get an AMD 270X. (less than 200$)

Is that the one?
I checked benchmarks between GTX750 TI and this AMD, AMD seems better.

I might try and buy it, see if my bank allows me buy it and go into overdraft.
Jup.
Whats the difference between:

and

You're paying extra for a tiny bit of factory overclock.
I would just go with the cheaper one.
So should I go for GTX750 TI or AMD 270X? which will perform better? (even if by tiny bit)
This will answer all your questions, I don't think questions like these are deserving of threads.

It's hard for me to decide by looking at charts.
The one you linked says GTX750 is better,
While other websites say that 270X is better.
The 270x will perform better but requires two PCIe power connectors. What's the exact model number of your power supply by any chance?

Fucking hell, had to open up PC which required me to move bed and all desks.
Too bad there is no sensors or some shit that can tell PC what model it is.
Anyways:

OCZ ZT Series.

You will definitely be more than fine with it.
Hopefully 750W is enough, since many are saying that AMD CPU's and GPU's draw a tonn of power.

Okay, apparently payment went through and I've purchased the 270X.
I wonder how much in dept I am now :v:

A computer with both a FX-8350 and R9 270x technically shouldn't draw more than 430 watts (overclocking the FX-8350 will cause power consumption to dramatically increase though). You would use a 450-700 watt power supply unit for this setup.
Also I was mistaken earlier with the PCIe connector. That Sapphire card only requires 1 PCIe power connector.

Some things just aren't worth being in debt for.

It's just owerdraft, in my bank I always get overdraft and end up paying like fiver as fee.
So 1 PCIe port and 1 connector? I currently have 1 connector too.
Also on a side note: how much do you think I could get out of selling Palit GTX560?

eBay can be an indication of how much others are selling theirs for:

Okay, so basically 40 eur.
That will do.
Thanks anyways for suggestions all, hopefully this will improve things in games.
Hmm just notice weird thing, Amazon marked payment as ordered and successful, while Bank statement says there was no payment made last night.
Says item will be shipped on Monday and arrive on Friday.
Anyone had this happen to them?
It's just a delay with your bank. You won't get the card for free lol
