• How do I enable my laptop's camera?

Hey ya. The title is pretty self-explanatory. But basically my laptop's built-in camera doesn't function. Like, I go into WMM and press "Capture from digital video camera" but then a message pops up saying that I have no digital video camera. What shall I do???

usually theres a program already installed that works with it somehow. well at least on my moms and sisters there was.
I just go into either Windows Live Messenger, or use the "Devices and Printers" section of Control Panel.
look in device manager see what is up
There might be a keyboard combo to turn the webcam on. I know my netbook has that to save power.

Web cam may be disabled in the BIOS settings press F12 at start-up or one of those keys...
