I haven't heard a lot about this game since hype went down, people still play this?
When it release it sat at 20-50k players and has steadily dropped to around 1500 players daily with only 66% positive on Steam if that means anything. The average players daily are around 2-5% of Rust/Arks.
It seems like game breaking bugs are a very regular occurrence, sometimes bugs so severe that the game is either literally unplayable (Servers crashing non stop) or completely interfere with gameplay (Bugs to have infinite raiding explosives so everything can be destroyed easily, or an issue where players simply could not build at all) You could understand and brush off these sorts of issues because 'early access', but from what people say even in cases where the game is actually unplayable it can take them 1-2 weeks to release a bugfix and often their patches just introduce more gamebreaking bugs.
I had a chance to try it at a friends and the most annoying thing for me was that they copied Ark's trash resources/crafting/etc systems where there is far too much unnecessary resource bloat and the menus/UIs are intuitive and annoying to use.
I'm glad I resisted the hype regardless of how good their original demo videos made the game seem.
My only problem with the game are fucking Crocodiles, like seriously, I can't play a game without one of these cunts following me across the map.
