• Computer not turning on, but motherboard light is on.

My computer started fine a little while ago until I went to plug my headphones in, once I plugged my headphones in, the whole computer just shut off. When I went to turn it back on, it wouldn't start, absolutely no response from anything. However the motherboard light was on so I assumed it wasn't the power supply. Just to be safe, I swapped my power supply out with one of my older ones (That still functioned) but the same problem pesisted, no response from anything aside from the glimmer of hope the motherboard light gave me. I tried pressing the motherboard power switch but that didn't do anything either. So then I went commando with my computer, I took literally everything apart and left only the PSU, motherboard, CPU and one stick of RAM in my system and even THAT didn't work. So at the moment i'm pretty convinced that it's most likely my motherboard that's fucked. However I could be wrong and it could be my PSU, though I find it pretty odd both of the PSU's I tested would come to the same result. So I guess my question is, what's fucked? I have a warranty on pretty much everything in my system at the moment so I'm not worried. I'm also open to suggestions as to how I could fix this problem without replacing something if possible. motherboard
I take it you have tried turning it on without the headphones plugged in?

Are there any beepcodes on startup?
did you insert the headphones at the back of the pc?
did you insert the headphones at the back of the pc?
Nope. On top, there's a few USB ports on top of the case next to the power buttons.
Is the front header (where you plugged you headphones into) plugged in right on the motherboard?
