So I have this button on my start menu, and it brings me to my documents, but I wan't to change it so it just goes to C:\Users\MYNAME\My Documents\ instead of my documents library. For some reason weird things happen in that library. How could I change this link? I am willing to edit the registry, hacks, whatever.
You could add the new folder to the Documents library, I did it with My Music so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to with docs.
Include C:\Users\MYNAME\My Documents\ in the documents library and then use it as the default save location. Or else edit some shit in the registry.
right click on it and something like properties or else click on it then on the left you see documents again and change the library's
I don't know about windows 7, but in vista I just right click and go to the location tab and can change it to whatever.
