Yeah, it's just marketing to get people interested in those services but it's still nice. I wonder if something similar will be done for the Xbox One.
Thought the PS4 didn't have mp3 support.
It's better to wait 6 months after release, just to see if they will release something better.
So... Isn't this what is normally given away with a 360 etc? The 30 day live trial and such, what is special about it aside from $10 credit?

a ps4
Tip: Don't use the Music Unlimited trial.
They automatically default you to subscribe to the monthly service. I lost like $20 before I noticed where the charges were coming from.
PS Plus is amazing. You get so many good games for free.

That should be illegal. They should give you a pop up when your trial is about to expire asking if you would like to subscribe to the service and if you don't select anything assume not.

It should, but almost every media streaming service use this approach. Netflix, spotify and so on
It actually is, you can't just assume someone wants to buy something unless it is plainly and obviously stated.
It's probably in the 500 page terms and conditions that literally no one reads.
what sony are doing is perfectly legal, its up to you to read the terms, and needing to enter a payment method for a free trial just screams you're going to be tied in.

PS4's 2nd patch is adding mp3 support.
Is this also in Europe or?
I'm really just interested in the credit.

Curious to how that whole free games thing is going to work at launch
This better be for other regions too. The image for the packaging on UK Amazon shows a 15 day trial for PS+ on it, so I hope I at least get that.

You do realize that PSPlus already exists? The games you got for free for PS3 were great. The whole deal was amazing.

PS Plus's free games thing is already up on the PS3 and has been for a long time now. Basically every month(?)a list of free games is added for that month. If you download any of them at all they're added to your game list and they're free for you forever BUT you have to get those games when they're free before the offer ends.
So anyone getting PS Plus now would not get the giant list of games shown above.
Guys, I get how it works. I said I was curious as to how it would work during the first month or two of the console when only new games are really coming out. As far as I know the whole streaming thing wont work at launch so more than likely PS Plus users would only really get some indie games or something.
