I always hear "be what you enjoy doing, then you won't work a day in your life" or something like that. Well growing up in the "Information Age", I am allot more passive (indoors) than perhaps any other generation from before, and I am some typical nerdish guy (as in not so bad, like that kid in class who you feel sorry for).
And of course most career info from HS is super outdated and not very "current" (They make it seem like no one who never went to a 4yr university ever was successful, make it sound like you are guaranteed work if you have a degree, etc).
I have been worried about how lots of jobs will disappear in the future due to technology advancements (and improved efficiency) economic issues, much more competition than before, etc. I feel like I am wasting my time at my community college (so far I am just taking general ed).
I do feel that the stuff I am good at, I'm really good at. I just feel like if I put all this effort towards a degree it will end up not worth it.
just major in art
Is there anything along the lines of science/engineering/math you're interested in? I doubt those would be replaced by computers anytime soon.
blacksmith's assistant.
vocational test
Get a masters degree in philosophy. Then you can be anything!
Women's Studies
It's sorta interesting how I am in philosophy right now, and I had a speaker who was a woman's studies professor in my sociology class.. and then you guys post those here as a joke :v:
Major in masturbation and minor in teaching so you can pass on your masturbation techniques.
I study graphic design and media production. Computers and stuff.
Study women's history. The during your first class, stand up and announce "I hope this class doesn't have too much history, because we are here for herstory. Then proceed to get as much pussy as a man can handle.
Major in power
Physics is master race among all sciences. Major AND minor in it.

Sadly, all that pussy will be from hardcore feminists that not even a MLP fan would fuck.
Anyway, Physics, Math or Chemistry, going for Applied Physics myself. Economy/Buisness and such wouldn't be a bad idea either.
Major in anthropology. It's pretty fucking interesting and totally debunks the claim that "god made everything and evolution is fake". It also argues that creationism is not a science.
ITT: major in whatever the poster's major is
Gynecologist
If you're worried about there being a poor job outlook, then major in Computer Science. You are guaranteed a job considering how fast technology is developing and that everything is becoming computerized.
If you don't take what you like, and end up with a shitty job because of it, you can and will only blame yourself.
If you don't know what to pick, considering waiting a year to figure things out.
