i love when the rhythm lines up such that it seems to skip, you should make it do that more
similarly, it could be better if you gave it places where it kind of resolves, so that the listener has a chance to catch a breath
This is going to sound rude, but this is garbage.
Don't take this the wrong way man, nothing against you.
First off, the rhythm is way spastic. Dubstep has a two step beat 99% of the time. Kick snare Kick snare Kick snare. The snare is what keeps the pace and the kick provides a divide between snares.
To provide a sort of skipping sound, you can have an extra delay between the kick and snare, or add in a snare after the first one. That is just a basic beat, in between the kick and snare you can add in cymbals and other sounds. What you have currently has no real drum pattern, I can hear attempts on the pattern, but the snare has to be timed correctly, if it comes early and there is no snare on the end of the pattern it sounds spastic.
Look at this:
Desired Kick point:------------------Desired Snare point:
Kick--------------------------------Snare |Works but is very simple
Kick-----------------------snare----snare |Works and more complex
Kick-----------------------snare--------X |Does NOT work and is spastic.
Really as long as you keep the same kick-snare pattern you can have anything in between, skipping kicks and skipping snares is also commonly used in dubstep but is tricky.
If you listen closely, 99.99999% of all music with a drum beat uses a snare to keep pace. This includes Hip Hop and Metal, which are the roots of more Americanized dubstep.
An example of a song with a PURPOSELY messed up drum pattern is Time by Doctor P. Listen closely.

I'm an experienced beat boxer.
One last thing, dubstep is more than a drum beat and hard bass. This is trash because I don't hear any melody or pattern of music just noise and drum beats.

I just listened to it all, don't ever make music like this again. Random garbled shitty noise plus a drum beat doesn't count as music.
Lol, yeah, sorry for this, I shouldn't have posted it, I knew it was bad and made it that way. I've made better dubstep before with a correct dubstep. I was baiting people into listening to my bitching of personal problems really
Shitty excuse for posting shitty noise
Doubt it.
Honestly, the fact you snipped all your posts and are trying to defend it is what's pathetic.
If you make a shit song and post it. LISTEN to the feedback given and ask what you can do to improve it. Then go back and work on it.
My first song I posted online was a four to the floor 140 bpm bunch of preset arpeggiators, and people told me it was shit and blah blah blah. I got all up in arms and just tried to defend it and give excuses for why it was bad and no i realise that wasn't the way to approach things.
It takes a lot of work to write music (contrary to popular belief), so don't expect to be the next skrillex or someone over night. You basically need to "train" at it.
My advice is to put that track back up so we can hear it and help you.

If you want a general run down, it's a failed drum beat with completely random noises. I'm not even kidding when I say that, it follows no musical pattern. It's obvious OP should never touch Fl studio again or he is the worst troll on earth.

If you don't like it you can express your opinion, but you don't have to be a dick about it

I'm fairly certain I can express my opinion however I want. It is obvious OP put little effort into making a decent song. Dubstep isn't noise and drums, people like him give the genre a bad reputation.
And I offered good constructive criticism for him, it's not like I'm being a douche without reason. People think dubstep and electronic music in general is easy to produce or simple to produce. It isn't, a lack of effort in producing a decent song by the OP shouldn't be rewarded with "try harder" or "practice" it should be shot down because this isn't a lack of fundamentals, it is the belief by the OP that this was going to be easy.
Sorry sixpence, I realise I've been a little hard on you for this. It's unfair of me to say that about you or your music when you may be just starting out, I fucked up when I said those things. Put some more of your stuff up if you have any (unless you just said the "I've made better dubstep" comment to avoid embarrassment from a situation I put you in, which is understandable. Sorry again.) so I can hear it. I like to hear aspiring artists.

I haven't made much dubstep, except I think this counts as dubstep but I don't think its that good. I made another one but I can't remember what I called it.
I think this one okay I guess
