Too bad, they are pretty interesting and getting them to work when you actually find one is a cool experience. But all for the sake of advancement!
My little bunny eared antenna TV stopped getting channels very shortly after they proclaimed this in the US. Our main TV (Which needed a box to get channels) Now gets a total of 3-7 channels. My local ABC station very sporadically, 2 PBS stations, and a Spanish Channel. Fucking awesome. Then again, it reduced my family's viewing time from a few hours a month to none at all, which is kind of good.
I haven't used an antennae since like, 99'...
RIP creepy low budget television.
Nice, now we can use old TV's to spy on people's phone conversations.
Giving the spectrum to phone companies is a bad idea.
I remember this transition in the US, those were interesting days.
And here in Brazil most cities don't have full HD service. When they do, it's like 5 channels. Fucking sucks
HAHA! Here in Agentina we have 6 HD overpriced channels! And one is a static image! Shame on you Brazil!
And here in Brazil most cities don't have full HD service. When they do, it's like 5 channels. Fucking sucks
I have more than 20 HD channels, a month ago it was less than 10. It's slowly getting better.
I use analog and I fucking love it. It keeps working every time while digital has shitty signal and breaks down 24/7.
Pff, you guys are so late. We stopped broadcasting analog in 2007. There's just not enough airwaves to use such an old technology, you can't fit all the information you need to fit into the spectrum with analog.
Good thing Australia is doing the move smoothly, I can't even picture what I would be missing if I didn't have digital TV. Most stations here have two more channels on HD compared to analogue. ABC has three more, but one is for kids and the other for News and the second one only show young children's programming for half the day.
