• My computer, dying?

For a while now my computer seems to have been messing up. Little by little, nothing major, but I can't be sure. After starting up the computer, I get an error involving RUNDLL. Now, whenever I start up my computer with a CD in it, it has trouble reading it. Earlier, when I started it up, it had a BSOD. A strange noise came from my computer case, similar to the sound that's omitted before it shuts down. I'm not sure what the problem could be. Now, when I put any CD into the drive, I get a BSOD.
Seems to me like a software issue. Try reformatting your computer. You can't really go wrong there but someone more knowledgeable can help more.
There has to be something better than just reformatting.
sounds like something buttfucked your OS believe me its time for a reformat just back your important stuff to a large pendrive/external HDD/DVD find a [Insert operating system] CD and start fresh
Well, the more I mess with the computer the more I think my DVD Drive might be dead. It could be that. I've had the drive four about four years, so it could be that.

The drivers could do that though but they normally don't just break coincidentally. If your (i assume) Windows installation is on your computer for more than two years or generally messing up everywhere it really is time for a reformat. Back up your shit and reinstall, you'll be surprised how fast your computer actually is.
