Windows Vista Black Screen (no cursor) Upon Startup

I got an eMachines W5233 recently and have been toying around with resolution settings that were best for the monitor. They worked fine for a while at 1280 x 768, but last night that resolution suddenly became incompatible, and the screen went black right in the middle of my pr0n!
When I restarted my computer you could hear sounds playing, and the hardware working, but the screen was black when you get to the log on screen. The only way to do anything is to go into safe mode and start the device manager. I then disabled the Intel GMA driver. When I rebooted, it logged on fine until:
Tada! The hardware check at the begging of almost anything game/3D related says your system is incompatible (GTA:SA wont start, Half Life:2 wont start, thus any source games)
I re installed the driver and started windows using F8 and chose low resolution mode. It started and got to the log on window, and after log on you can see the desktop for a brief moment. In the tray you can see the Intel GMA driver icon pop up and then the resolution switches to the unsupported one.
I have tried older versions of drivers for the chipset, the newest driver and even tried getting a screen resolution changer and applying keys to WinReg to switch resolution using hot keys.
Anyways, I need some help. I really want my games back and am getting tired of watching videos online (as chrome still works). Suggestions, anyone?

And also full specs with Speccy please.
Return it to the store
GPU is fucked and you can't fix that.
Buy a correct GPU, there are cheap but good ones too.
I fixed it!
Hahaha! I was right! The GPU is fine, Tratzzz. It was a resolution problem.
What I did was go into safe mode, grab a pen and piece of paper and wrote down the steps to get to the resolution screen using the keyboard.
This is what I wrote:
-Press start
-Type "personalization"
-Enter
-Down key 6 times
-Enter
-Tab
-Left like 10,000,000 times (to be sure its at lowest resolution)
-Tab 6 times
-Enter
I was scared because for a second there nothing happened, but then a normally ugly 800 x 600 screen came up, but for this time it was beautiful. It made me so proud that I could fix something like this practically blindfolded.
:)
