Apparently my 5 year old mouse that came with my desktop has went ape shit.
Randomly in-game it'll spin lightning fast for about a second then freeze, then I have to find my way back into the direction I was going (happens about every 15 minutes)
When I click something sometimes it'll double click, therefore causing me to have to undo whatever I was doing (happens every 5 minutes)
I hate to have to buy a new mouse cause this one isn't even that old.
Any suggestions on what I should do, or even point me in the direction for a new mouse.
I personally would consider a 5 year old mouse "old" and I suggest the G400 to replace it.
Doesn't sound like something that would be easy to fix unless you take it apart and find some dirt or something.
To the above user, the MX518 is at least 6 years old now, and it's still a great mouse. Mines starting to look a little worse for wear now but it still works perfectly.

My MX518 is only 2 years old. I mean if in three years time it doesn't work, I wouldn't put the effort into fixing it when I can get a fair upgrade.
Thanks

Deathadders are only worth spending money on if you can get them very cheap.
I'd go for a Steelseries Ikari or Xai if getting a new mouse.
Or listen to the all fanboys and get a Logitech.
If you're poor and can find it, the BTC M850 is nice.
