I have two monitors. Both connected to my GTX 970, the first connected by DP, the seconed connected by HDML. Until now, I'd had the first monitor connected by HDMI and the second one connected by DP. The issue that I am having is that when I turn on my PC, one of the monitors, the one connected via DP, is not saying there's a signal and goes into standby mode, when what it should be doing is recognising that it's a second monitor avaiable and be connected, with a green light and an illuminated black/grey screen. When I switched the cables around, the monitor that stopped working also switched; the one connected to DP. So my question is, what could the issue be and how do I fix it?
Get a new DP cable and see how that works out.
Bad cables are super common. Make sure you try a different brand too.

Will do, I'll report back to command control when I've tested it :)
I replaced the cable and the issue still occurs. Any other suggestions?
You can also try using another cable. Did you do that?
