Will using Cheat Engine on Killing Floor SOLO trigger a VAC Ban?
If Killing Floor Solo is not Vac Secured, then I guess it won't, so the main question is, Is the solo mode of Killing Floor Vac Secured?
I don't think Valve Anti Cheat affects non-valve games.

It says right on the store page that Killing Floor is VAC enabled

So we now know that Killing Floor is VAC enabled, but is the Solo Mode of KF VAC enabled?
Solo does affect MP gameplay since you get XP from it - so it's entirely possible. If you just want to get XP, don't do it, really. There's no point. A lot of the fun comes from leveling and getting that next upgrade.
It's really sad that you need to cheat at this game. Ruins the fun of "ALL RIGHT FINALLY LEVEL FIVE NOW I SPAWN WITH A WEAPON HAHAHA"
It's not like I perk leveled from 0 - 6. All I simply did was run CE, ran Solo KF, and played around with it. The most I did was leveling Berserker from Lv. 0 to 1.

It maybe possible, however, VAC is the main thing. VAC can detect cheats on a server, so that is why I am asking to see whether Solo Mode has VAC, so I can play around with CE.
Bump.
Okay, I found 2 sources that gave reasons why you won't get VAC banned, however, I do not know if this is true.
Source 1:
'No, VAC is neither enabled during solo play nor required for perk progress, and is the only thing capable of globally banning your from Killing Floor (and possibly other VAC-secured games). The only other way to be banned is via a server admin, and hacked stats are impossible to distinguish from good* ol' fashioned grinding.'
Source 2:
'Nope, first of all you weren't playing on a VAC server to begin with. Single player doesn't even launch a server at all. It's when you play online in VAC-enableed servers and cheat you get banned. Valve doesn't care if you cheat to have fun with yourself, they just don't like it when it ruins things for everyone.'
What do you think of this?
The second source isn't entirely true. You can get banned from cheating in local servers, on valve games. But since KF isn't a valve game, and only uses the VAC, I'm not sure what to think about it.
You can't get VAC banned for cheating on a non-VAC enabled server can you? If so then you would get banned if your solo game had VAC enabled, which I think it can be.
That's what I said in posts above, so now I'm wondering whether a solo game is VAC secured.
Think of it this way: if you hacked in TF2 in SP to get items, you'd still be VAC banned, even though you're not on a VAC server.
That maybe true, as you would have to create a server in TF2 using the "Create Server" button. Also in console, it would say something about server connected to VAC. However, in Killing Floor, there is a difference between HOST Server and Solo. Solo is just playing on a map without anyone joining you, while Hosting is where everyone can join. That's just my way of thinking of it. Both may have VAC.
