Just ordered this lot. I didnt order it from scan but because I Have already ordered I couldn't have a basket view. So I made the same thing up on scan to see if it was any cheaper. Altogether this cost me £888 (Cool price huh) I probably should have posted this before ordering but I had the money and just couldn't control myself Have I ordered any stupid or bad components? Or should I have changed anything about my build? The only difference between these parts and what I ordered is the blu ray (Which I ordered because I watch blu rays from lovefilm) this is the one I ordered. not the LG: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/opticaldrives/bluray/ihes112-115.html the scan price ended up being £8 cheaper but that is without L.E.D's (completely necessary)
You picked out solid components, but I would have recommended a Radeon HD 7950 over the 660 ti because of better performance and it comes with 3.2 free games. Also the case; I love the CM 690 II, I think it is the best at its price, but the Nvidia version must have cost extra?

And this is going to sound dumb as fuck but I kind of had to buy an nvidia card with that case because an ATI card in that case would drive my OCD crazy.
Another thing, Should I go for windows 7 or windows 8? It will be arriving in the next few days, Will be used for programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom and sony vegas, then also for Gaming. I have windows 8 on my laptop and I haven't ran into any problems yet. But considering how much I have paid I want to to run as good as possible. I will be overclocking too.
Windows 8. Do keep in mind though that you'll be an early adopter so issues may arise before they get fixed.
I'd go for Windows 8. I've been using it full time on my gaming PC and it's running everything smoothly (Smoothly than Windows 7 since it uses less resources than 7).
