If your about to say "Em Fows R Betar lul. Fuk Jihid lul." then GTFO and take your fail with you. Vote for your favorite AK and tell why. #1: The Original AK-47. Simple, yet robust! #2: The AKS-74. Smaller round that is apparently more accurate and reduces recoil. It also has the folding stock so you can dual wield with ease (lets act like that's why they put it there.) #3: The RPK-74. A AK-74 made to be more accurate and durable for support weapon use. Commonly used in the First Chechen War when PKMs weren't available. #4: The AKS-74UN. A shortened AKS-74 with a flash suppressor. Oddly enough, the flash suppressor makes it kick harder and have more noise. #5: The SVD Dragunov. A DMR created on the AK base. Unlike popular belief, it is not a sniper and it never was created to be one. It was made to provide covering fire at ranges of 600 meters. It was not accurate enough to be considered a sniper though. #6: The RK-95 TP. A Finnish version of the AK-47. #7: The AK-105. A shortened AK-74M carbine. Similar to the looks of the AK-102, AK-104, and AK-105, the only differences being the caliber and magazine. #8: The OTS-14 Groza. A heavily modified AKS-74U made to shoot the larger 9x39 bullet. It was created for CQC and Urban Assault only. #9: The AN-94 Abakan. Created to replace the standard service rifle of the time, the AKS-74. #10: The VSS Vintorez. Sniper variant of the AS Val silenced assault rifle. I hope you guys know you may only have 10 choices in a poll.
My favorite isn't on there, AMD 65
AKMS disappeared :( I am dissapoint
Still no Chinese variant and the modern variant is gone.
lol does AK elitism really matter? i mean regardless of what type you have it is still a member of the Kalashnikov family somehow. its just a case of what kind of role you prefer and what AK fits that role.
Still no Chinese variant and the modern variant is gone.
Externally, the Chinese one looks pretty damn close to the AKM to me.
AN-94 is completely different from the AK internally. The AEK-971 or AK-107 would make much more sense.
Externally, the Chinese one looks pretty damn close to the AKM to me.
Please Get the fuck out and don't come back.
Please Get the fuck out and don't come back.
No thanks.
No thanks.
Sorry, I only like twelve year old's when they aren't as dumb as you.
Marked one what the helllll [editline]06:28PM[/editline] RPK-74 every day.
The AN-94 isn't a Kalashnikov. Neither is the SVD. That said, the Ak 74 is a smexy beast.
AK-103 is a favorite. Out of the ones on there though I pick the '74un.
I like the AK-74. And a whole bunch of those arent AK variants, just FYI. The SVD has basically no internal similarities to the AK.
I like the AK-74. And a whole bunch of those arent AK variants, just FYI. I don't think the Groza, the SVD, VSS, AN-94, or RK-95 belong up there, but people would bitch if it wasn't.

I don't think the Groza, the SVD, VSS, AN-94, or RK-95 belong up there, but people would bitch if it wasn't.
The RK-95 belongs up there. It's an upgraded RK-62 which in turn was a reverse engineered Polish AKM modified for increased accuracy and with plastic furniture and a different stock. I'm pretty sure the Groza belongs too.

Let me call up gary and tell him to allow polls with 1000 options, hold on.
74UN is my top pick.
74UN is the shit
I don't think the VSS belongs here, but out of my choices it's my favorite.
Glad to see the AN-94, but there's way too many variants to really put into a poll.
I never realised there were so many model of the Kalashnikov.
AKS-74. It's a really nice gun.
I never realised there were so many model of the Kalashnikov.
If it was the best selling gun in the whole world, you'd expect them to make improvements/shitty Chinese copies wouldn't you?
Sorry, I only like twelve year old's when they aren't as dumb as you.
What the hell is wrong with you? Sure he didn't meet your extremely high gun standards, but you don't need to act like a whiny bitch.
From what I've heard (for the real steel model) The Russians aren't the best at making AKs. Romania, Czechoslovakia and most other Warsaw pact countries make them, most a as good / better than Russian aks. Also, what's this selling idea? Much like the US, Russia sent these weapons out to just about everybody ie., leftist rebels, governments that disliked america.

Romanian AKs are considered to be of the lowest quality. Bulgarian AKs are considered to be second best. There's a whole list on the internet somewhere.
Needs more AK5
Needs more AK5
The AK5 isnt even remotely AK based, its FNC based :geno:
47 ftw.
