Ever since I booted up my PC this morning, I haven't been able to do anything on it because it goes to the american megatrends screen and a message says "Updating iROG_3 firmware now! Do not reboot or turn off power..." Problem is, when it hits 100% it reboots then starts over, and has done so almost 5 times in a row now with no sign of stopping. Anyone know what I must do to solve this problem?
Do you have an ASUS motherboard? It seems to be a common problem with them, which isn't surprising since many ASUS boards going back a decade have had similar bizarre issues.
The only fix I came across was to:
1) Power off the machine, unplug it from the wall and remove the CMOS battery for at least a minute (5 to be safe.)
2) Remove all RAM from the system except for one stick in the first memory slot.
3) Put the CMOS battery back in, then plug the mahcine back in and turn it on.
If that doesn't work, the BIOS is probably corrupt. If such is the case, you really can't do anything other than RMA the motherboard (or PC if MFG built) to get it replaced.

That did the trick, thanks for the help!
