I found the first episode to be pretty short, but it was pretty fun. Enemies were pretty much all the same. Not much variation to them. Atmosphere was pretty nice though.
Yeah I'm gonna be honest, offline coop's kind of a necessary thing for me in games like this. Resident Evil has been a hit-and-miss game for awhile now, and if it's one of the ones that do have coop, I need to at least have the ability to laugh my ass off with a friend sitting next to me if it turns out to be garbage. I didn't beat RE6 until my friend came over and we managed to get through it like that. Had a blast, but it wasn't because the game was good. [editline]26th February 2015[/editline] Not that I'm saying this is bad. In fact, there's a higher chance it will be good.
Resident Evil shouldn't have co-op at all. It shouldn't even have AI partners. Co-op should be, at most, reserved for Mercenaries or Raid mode.

But I don't get why the recent RE games since 5 have shoehorned forced co-op in to the point that RE6 made the AI partner invincible (for the most part) and have infinite ammo after the abysmal stupidity and resource-wasting habits of the AI in 5. And honestly, once co-op becomes a primary part of your game, local or online it needs to be intact no matter the platform unless that verison of the game is radically overhauled to play without it.

Allow drop-in if you want, but stop forcing me to play with shit AI or a friend. It ruins the atmosphere. I'd much rather play through SP first and then play the serious game unserious with a friend.
I really enjoyed RE5 on COOP with my friend. I bought Revelations (1) ASAP because it listed itself as having COOP on its steam page. It turned out it was not story COOP, and I never bothered playing it since, really annoyed me.
Raid mode is the only good thing so far in Rev2, that and they somehow didnt manage to fuck up Barry.
Raid mode is the only good thing so far in Rev2, that and they somehow didnt manage to fuck up Barry.
Raid mode is just a grind.
Raid mode is just a grind.
Honestly will be able to see with Episode 2 since Episode 1 raid missions just start getting interesting in the last sets. The Very Hard missions and few of the hard missions started getting fun and challenging, the last Very Hard mission is pretty fucking crazy. And grinding doesnt help much when you have a mini on fire super fast mayday guy chasing you around. Plus from level 1-42 I only had to grind about 4 levels, the rest came naturally and from the dailys.
