Wow I've always wanted to play it. Now its F2P, that rocks.
I payd for it. Now give me my money back.
Gamersfirst is just going on an MMO Buying Spree aren't they?
Go go put it on steam!
I hope this goes on Steam. I've always wanted to try it out.
It's already on steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/40000
oh my god, this is so ironic, I just setup a monthly thing for this and they charged me but never gave me service and never responded to my support emails... Then I threatened them with the BBB, I was just writing to them when this was announced... Coincidence?
Actually not a bad idea, I did enjoy the game when I tried it the past. Also, here's some more info from the site itself. Free: This is to be considered an unlimited free trial, by which players will be allowed to play the game from end to end completely free if they'd like. They just won't earn any reward points. Silver: This tier will cost less than the current sub price (which is currently $14.99 a month) and provide the same content. All subscriptions (Silver, Gold, and VIP) will also earn enhanced XP gain. Gold: This will cost the same as the current sub fee but offer more reward points and bonuses each month, which can be spent in the item shop. So you'll be getting more for the same price. VIP: With this top tier (which will most likely cost more than the current sub fee), players will have the ability to share their VIP bonuses with everyone in their party in the form of a VIP "aura." So if one person in your party is VIP but the rest are free players, everyone in the group will still reap the rewards of this aura. These rewards are also stackable, so if you have a full party of VIP members, you can expect some crazy boosts for everyone in the group.
Might have to buy & try this one day.
Played this when it was new but it was (obviously) quite buggy and not as good as my friend made it out to be, so I stopped the first guy I made finished the tutorial then spawned into a vasty, empty desert with nothing around him and I ran around for forever to see if I could find anything but I couldn't , so I had to delete them and make a new guy, then it worked fine :v: It's ok, but I was dissapointed. I thought it looked awesome from the pre-release stuff I saw. Now all we need is Warhammer Online to go properly f2p .
What exactly are reward points?
What exactly are reward points?
You spend them in the store to get items and deals the f2p'ers can't get, I imagine.
This game is boring when I played it... the combat was not exciting and the crafting is sometimes a headache.
so in other words, it's HIGHLY pay to win?
Most of the gameplay in this is PvE and I wouldn't say that increased experience gain is really pay to win.
i got this game free a while back due do a magazine competition:and i was bored: so i tried out the free 30 days i got. played it for a hour. I didint like it at all.
