Goodbye goodbye goodbye and thanks, for all the fish~
“Action puzzle solving” - Is that the same as in half-life where you stack bricks on a plank while combine soldiers shoot at you?

I hope you get to manipulate things with your feel-y bendy dick.
Can you, as a dolphin, construct rape caves? If so GOTY and I'll back it.
sounds gay
The Big Blue is being developed in Unity. A huge benefit of using Unity is that we can compile to different platforms. The Big Blue will run on Mac, Windows, and iOS and Android platforms.
Once we are done with the first version of the game I will convince Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo to embrace the game. We want the Big Blue everywhere.
I hate them for mentioning every platform but linux. Fuck them and their kickstarter.
Hope it'll also have a fucked up nightmare-inducing alien level.
I saw Big Blue on the front page and expected something about F-Zero.
I'd back it, but it says "add $2 to ship outside USA", and I don't want to spend the $2 >_>

Posted from a Windows PC.

Yes, sorry about that. I use windows in my desktop for gaming and linux mint everywhere else.
That wasn't the point though. They mentioned every platform but linux and claimed it was "every platform". Their ignorance just made me mad.
This sounds a lot like Ecco the Dolphin.

You admit you use Windows for gaming, but you're pissed off because a game isn't being released on Linux? What? Would you even play it on Linux if you got it?
And where did they mention "every platform"?
I know what it's about because they were going to come back and they did, because many Ecco fans wanted a new Ecco The Dolphin game but somehow they did a bit science fiction like in the game Ecco The Dolphin and Ecco:Tides of Time.
This is what the story is about, this about humans that becomed extincted and then a new evolution have started and marine life will take over the evolution, you be the dolphin you are called singers like the Ecco games have the idea, but this not real but dolphins have been enchanting their sonars for many years, even Ecco helped dolphins in new way and maybe the dolphin make things futuristic and last things, if like the game, pleased I really thank you soo much people across the world that wanted a new Ecco game and make a awesome futuristic dolphin game and keep going to them to make a new Ecco The Dolphin Game and may become even more epic.
WHOS WITH ME FOR ECCO AND HIS SPIRIT!!!!

I can't wait to play my sea-based fish rape simulator

Why would they develop a whole new set of code for a non-mainstream gaming platform? Yes, linux is growing in popularity, but I can see why they choose not to develop for it; it's just not financially viable.
It's like asking why they're not bringing it out on Google Glass
I don't understand, what is the idea here? The "gameplay demo" on their website is, as the article put it, just a side-scrolling dolphin stalking simulator

Wrong. They are making it in Unity which runs in pretty much any OS without much effort.
This is what bothered me the most.

He's more wrong than that in any case, depending on your libraries you might have to change close to nothing to port your code. The server for my final project requires about 5 lines of code to be ifdef'd to run on linux, because it uses all cross platform libaries. The only code that needs to be ifdef'd to work cross platform is the code to initialize winsock (linux does not need to initialize sockets/clean them up for use)
OH GOD ITS FINALLY HAPPENING

HYPEHYPEHYPE
If nothing else, this is enough to make me drag out my old copy of Ecco and play that.
Personally I would like to see this made if only for there to be something in the MMO market that's a different concept from the standard fare.
