I bought a CPU at Frys electronics about 1 month ago. It was an AMD Athlon II X4 620 for $100. I'm wondering what my options are for buying a new CPU (Phenom series), replacing the Athlon. I know that the return policy for CPU's are like 14 or 15 days. What I am trying to say is, that is there a way to sort of "sell" or return my CPU in place of the new Phenom. Don't get me wrong though, the Athlon II X4 processor is very fast to my standards at a good price.
I doubt frys will just let you return a used functional product just because you are bored with it.
What's the problem anyway? The 620 is fine. If want higher gaming performance look at a new GPU.

(2.6GHz compared to like 3+ GHz, quad). Doesn't really matter though, I was just curious. And Ferrus, I am getting a new graphics card already.
Overclock it.
I would try to but my mother board doesn't support over clocking. You can't really tweak shit anyways. I have a Pegatron NARRA5 lawl. I am getting this one though: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813131398
Ok well get the mobo and then OC the athlon.
