Do these game's rules change at all aside from the fact that it's a different theme of Monopoly?

Says in the article "The game will sell for $39.99 when it comes out, and will follow traditional Monopoly rules" :)
I'd totally play WoW monopoly if it wasn't so goddamned expensive.

I'm asking if any monopoly board in the entire existence had changed the rules of monopoly at all.
I got a cat version of Monopoly at my house and there's a Star Wars version at a friend's house and it seems like the rules haven't changed at all.

I got a lord of the rings version where I think one of the dice had a different thing on the one and when you rolled it you went to jail.
Yeah not much of a change...
jesus christ 40 dollars.
Well guys there is that little thing called "licensing".
Milton-Bradley is going to make sure they make the same amount on every Monopoly set made, the extra price is to pay whoever owns the license to the board's theme, in the case Activistion.
