Balto's a band from Portland, Oregon that I discovered when I searched for the soundtrack for the movie Balto. I fell in love with them, they remind me of The Tallest Man on Earth, somewhat. They sadly have only about ~1000 likes on their Facebook, but after having advertised them to pretty much all my friends and posted them on the Internet, I got another few plastered on there. Why? Because I think they deserve it. And most of my friends think so too. They have two albums, Monuments and October's Road. While they're available on Spotify and on Youtube, the album Monuments is given away for free on their website. You can "name your price", so you can get it for free, but if you have a heart, throw in a couple bucks. So here are a couple of examples of their music: Spotify: Balto – Smokestacks http://balto.bandcamp.com/track/smokestacks (Not on Youtube or Vimeo) Spotify: Balto – The Railyard Spotify: Balto – Self Portrait Spotify: Balto – October's Road I recommend that if you like their music, you buy their music and encourage them by sharing them.
Really love "Gravestones" Thanks for sharing, will definitely do the same.
Listened to Octobers Road the other night, I like this group quite a bit.
