Hezbollah announced on Sunday morning that one of its top officials, Samir Kuntar, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a Damascus suburb.
In the statement, the group said the "Zionist enemy's planes" struck a building in Jaramana, a district of Damascus, around 10:15 P.M. on Saturday, killing Kuntar and several Syrian civilians.
According to reports, between six and eight people were killed in the strike, among them also Hezbollah field commanders.
Israel did not take responsibility for the assassination. Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz refused to address reports on Sunday but said he would not be sorry if they turned out to be true. "Kuntar was an evil man," he said before a cabinet meeting. "Perhaps Finnish intelligence was at work here, and did a good job."

In case you were wondering who is Samir Kuntar:
Samir Kuntar (Arabic: سمير القنطار‎, also transcribed Sameer, Kantar, Quntar, Qantar; 20 July 1962 – 19 December 2015) was a Lebanese Druze member of thePalestine Liberation Front who was convicted of murder.
On April 22, 1979, at the age of 16, he participated in the murder of an Israeli policeman and the attempted kidnapping of an Israeli family in Nahariya that resulted in the deaths of four Israelis and two of his fellow kidnappers. Kuntar and his team broke into an apartment building and kidnapped a father, 31-year-old Danny Haran, and his 4-year-old daughter, Einat, taking them to a nearby beach and killing them.
In Israel, Kuntar is considered the perpetrator of one of the most brutal terrorist attacks in the country's history. Newsweek states that the details of Kuntar's attack are "so sickening they give pause even to some of Israel's enemies." The Jerusalem Post states that "exactly how popular Kuntar was in Lebanon is up for some debate."
On November 24, 2008, Syrian president Bashar Assad presented Kuntar with the Syrian Order of Merit medal and in early 2009 he was honored by Iranian PresidentMahmoud Ahmadinejad. On 8 September 2015, the United States State Department designated him as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist under Executive Order 13224.

He literally received medals from Assad and Ahmedinejad for the heroic act of shooting a father in front of his 4 tear old daughter, then smashing her head.
Here we go again
Adios, asshole
No idea who this guy was but from what you've listed there, good riddance.
The dude was in prison for 30 years, and he didn't change a bit. It was a severely brutal murder as well. He shot the father and crushed the girls skull with the butt of his gun. The mother was hiding in a closet with her infant child. She tried to cover his mouth to prevent them from being captured but she accidentally smothered him to death.
Might be my bias because my family knew the Harans. But I'm glad he was put down. Like in ishai shliscel's case, rehabilitation didn't seem to work for him.
So Israel now has the right now attack Syria? Hah.
I used to play Wow with a couple from Damascus when it first came out, they were really cool people, wonder if they got out.
Good riddance, fucking Kunt.
He crushed a little girl's skull with the butt of a rifle. Sick fucking freak.

Oh boy. I guess the ends justify the means, eh?

There will anyways be innocents trapped in the crossfire. It should be kept to a minimum, but it is impossible to have a perfect record.
Good riddance
Samir Kuntar, the notorious terrorist killed Saturday night near Damascus, was believed to be preparing a major terror attack against Israel from the Golan Heights, according to highly reliable Western sources.
Also, I guess it depends on your definition of "civilians".
Also killed in the attack, according to pro-government websites, was Farhan al-Sha’alan, a leader of the Syrian Resistance in the Golan, a group affiliated with Hezbollah.
It was unclear if others had been killed or wounded in the strike in Jaramana, a neighborhood with an ethnically and religiously mixed population that includes many Druse and Christians, but which has become overcrowded with Syrians displaced from other areas.

Civilian casualties are impossible to avoid and it's bullshit how the media focuses on the civilian causalities caused by Israelis when the planes bombing Raqqa kill far more civilians.
Rest in piss you sick son of a bitch.
