as the title says, someone stole my xbox one about 2 months ago, this kid who was invited by my friend at one of my gatherings, he was the only guy i didn't really know much about, he seemed decent, he was saying i had a nice house you know the usual polite talk, a few days after, i come back from college and study session with one my friends, i arrive around at 11PM, only to sit at my desk and to notice my xbox one is gone, everything xbox related, everything else was still present, now after a week and a half of thinking who could of done this, i mentioned this kid's name arounf some of my classmates that are local, only to see a good portion of my class turn to me and say this kid is well known thief, now unfortunatly, the only proof i have is the serial number of the console, that can be tracked by microsoft but require a law enforcement officer to work with them, now after all the steps i took with microsoft and the RCMP, i was told microsoft needs a court order to release that information, which is pretty backwards if you ask me, RCMP told me this is too much effort to waste on a single console unit, which is totally understandable, now i have no clue on what to do. Any ideas ?
ignore the fact i posted his fb or pic.
Why would you give us his Facebook page?

And selfie?
Report to your local police and see if they'll do anything about it. Tell them that you have proof and that he is a well known thief. They might not do anything about it, but it is worth a try.
already did all of that...
What do you want to achieve by putting a picture of him on here and giving us his facebook? Facepunch won't dox someone for you.
What's up with that hat?

To quote a certain, less favorite website, we're not your personal army. And actually, neither are they.
Personally if the law enforcement won't do anything then the only choice is to take it into your own hands.
the success of this of course depends on the speed and strength of your punch
Check the pawn shops buddy, if he's a known thief thats were they usually end up and then they have to return it as stolen property.
I mean that sucks that that happened but what can we do about it?
NYPA
is this a serious post?
Of course it is. Everyone knows that 4chainz guy is a pro hacker, he graduated from the top of his class as a Navy Seal you know.
i wasn't expecting anyone from here to do anything with the fact i posted his fb and pic, my bad for misleading you into thinking so, i checked the pawn shops did all of what i could think of, it really looks like its gone for good...
smack him in the face
Get him to accidentally sign over his soul and then refuse to return it until you get your Xbox back.
steal his xbox
steal his xbox
if i knew his home address, i'd get something prepared ::v:
Ask around to see where he lives then steal it back, what's he going to do? Complain that you stole your own xbox off him? Seriously though, maybe you should try and contact his parents, roomates, w/e and ask if he recently brought an xbox home.
You steal your Xbox back and then take his life.
This is why it's good idea to keep your good shit hidden from all but your most trusted friends.

Ask the friend that invited him over.

post of the year
Steal his ps4, it's better
actually this guy is known to be violent, has multiple offenses, has been pretty much expelled from all highschools, if my friend asked around, he'd get into trouble, the situation is a little more delicate than you'd think

Get a shitty PC filled to the brim with malware and keyloggers. Have him steal it. Maybe he'll use it at home and connect to his internet.

But don't you forget to sacrifice him to some blood entity mister
You will now engrave everything you own :v:
get a bunch of friends to beat him up and torture him until he admits that he stole it
