• Getting a new CPU around June

Hey, I'm planning on upgrading my CPU. Currently, I have: CPU - E6600 Dual Core 2.4 Ghz Video Card - ATI Radeon 4870 512 MB RAM - 4 Gigs (I'm running Vista 32-bit though) PSU - 550 Watts (I forgot the model, it was coolermaster though) Motherboard - nVidia nForce 650i Ultra SPP Mainboard - EVGA NF66 Hopefully I can get something < $300, and I realize that I need a new motherboard to go with a quad core. Again, this will be purchased in 2 months or so, so prices may drop. Thank you!
Ok.. so are you asking us to suggest you a new CPU?
Yes please.
wait until a week or two before you buy it to ask

If you're REALLY hard pressed for money, pick up a X3360, overclock it, and you're all set for a while. Otherwise just come back a week or two before you plan to build and we'll spec you parts for a nice i5 build.
