New DVD in Japan aimed at helping women over come men staring at them
The latest product to come out of the perpetually fascinating land of Japan might just be the most simplistic, yet most disturbing we've yet to see. And that's saying a lot.
A new DVD called 'Miterudake for Lady' is designed to help Japanese women deal with men staring at them... by showing them images of men, well, staring at them. According to the manufacturer Avex, Miterudake ("only seeing" in Japanese) is targeted at the jaded woman whose "heart was almost broken at love and interpersonal relationships." According to InventorSpot, after a minute of staring into the camera, one of the 51 Japanese men on the DVD will give a reassuring laugh, and offer some words of encouragement.
The Miterudake isn't only for women who need extra help getting over the "Male Gaze," though; there's a version for men, too, and it's even creepier. The guy version features more of a variety in demographic when it comes to staring subjects, including female twins and octogenarians, among others.
It's basically inversion therapy. :v:

Oh wow, I'd love to have men stare at me. What's up with these women?
Ok so to have women buy this DVD in order to over come men staring at them to only make them stare at more men that are staring back at them?
Good job Japan on making no fucking sense whatsoever again.

Yeah, that's really a problem.
Step one: Stop dressing like a hooker.

For reference about Japan.
I don't get why women freak when men stare at them.
I take it as a compliment. At least until they start following me around. :ohdear:
I like to stare at women :smug:
....on my pc, like all other fucking losers here.
These words are so truthful, they burn at my damaged soul.
I'll bet some Japanese dude in is fapping to one of these videos as we read this.
:saddowns:
if I was a Japanese dude I'd look at women with binoculars from like five feet away
Stare, stare stare...
Well, staring accomplish nothing
I was told that in japan women out number men and they dress up like school girls to look younger/hotter as a result?
^ And then they get raped by giant tentacles.
Is it just me, or is Japan starting to seem like the perviest, most paedophiliac place on earth?

Women in America have a lot more social power than they do in Japan, so men are generally less threatening

It has been for a long damn time.
Does it come with a robot hand to help women cope with being felt up on the tubes? Because if it does, we've just entered a bizarre porno.
