I have a Razer Barracuda Headset and I recently installed XP. My headset won't work at all, I went to Device Manager and it isn't even in the sound area, it's under Other Devices. I've tried unplugging it and restarting. There aren't any drivers for it that I know of so, I don't really know what to do in order to make it even recognized on my computer.
There's drivers for it. It's a razer.

Those are for the sound card not the headset. Can you read next time?
Where did you purchase it then? The headsets all come with install CD's

read through that and see if there's anything about making it work.
This one didn't. It came with a shitty fold up manual, some stickers, more shitty razer paper, and a headset.
plug&play should detect it as a headset.

Why would XP be the problem? I never saw it say it's a Vista Only headset.

It doesn't and it wouldn't be a problem to buy a different one if it didn't cost in the hundreds...

No.
No.
Thank you sir! I prefer XP over Vista.
