So I recently decided to upload some of my music to Soundcloud.

I will be adding more in the near future, but tell me what you think of these first three :)
Thanks.

New track added - check it out!

Aaaand another new one :)
to be honest, its a bit boring and a bit repetitive. I think you should try and implement some more interesting song structure, or form, such as having 'chorus' and 'verse' ideas to break up the repetition. Canyon was very nice, perhaps you should record some vocals for it though.

I understand how you might find it boring, sometimes I just really enjoy making a progression and building upon it :).
About the vocals, I've been trying to get into writing lyrics and recording them but I have a problem with convincing myself it's good enough to show.
Thanks for the reply!

Songs aren't defined by a 'verse' and 'chorus' and that is what mainstream music wants you to think.
This music that he has made is actually very very good, and fits quite well in the category it was made for.
It's ambient, it's electronica, it sounds like it has some dnb roots as well, its very good.
Haven't you ever heard of like, Deadmau5 and that sort of thing? It's all repetitive and it's all about getting lost in the music, not following structure.
I say, keep up the good work OP, it's awesome.
A handful of people tell me all the time they hate my MineCraft songs... but regardless of what they say, there are tons of more people who actually like the songs to even care what they think, it's different music, it's not what they like, and thats okay.
I like your creations Check out some of mine too, the quality isnt that great but its better than creating nothing

as you can tell im more into rock/heavy metal :P I like all music though
Also unlike alot of people I can appreciate all types of music as something creative with emotions and inspiration, really like some of your music, keep it up.
If people say your music sucks than they don't understand music, sadly a lot of people don't understand creation
BTW Synthesis is amazing, Really love it
If you made a cd I'd buy it
Keep up the good work!
Slow electronic isn't something you see everyday. It's pretty good, and soothing instead of exciting.
Caesar's comet has some really nice motifs in it. In Synthesis I like the really fast motif over the slow drumbeat.
Thanks for the replies everyone! :D
I thought this thread had died haha.
Also, I definitely agree with you xSlay3Rx, no good getting offended if someone simply doesn't enjoy the genre!

I shouldn't have used the words 'verse' and 'chorus' what I mean is having form like a classical piece (sort of) such as ABA to break up repetitiveness. I hate deadmau5 - he's far too overrated and his music is very boring in my opinion.

Exactly, and this is why I said you don't like that genre, because that is just what the music is like, and if you are lost in the music, you don't care about the form or structure. This also explains why you don't like Deadmau5, yes he is too overrated, I would use the word mainstream, but I think he is good.

You can say its getting 'lost in the music' as much as you like I think its just lazy, but I guess i'm not the only opinion that matters so good day to you sir. ;)

I'll accept criticism, but don't call me lazy where it's unwarranted.
I CHOSE to keep certain songs simple without much progression. You're starting to come across as an asshole now, your opinion is not fact.

I was talking about deadmau5, sorry if I came along as an asshole, I agree my opinion is not fact i'm just trying to give some criticism rather than repeating everything everyone else has said.

My music experience comes from my 4 years of symphonic band, and the fact that I will listen to just about anything, so take what you want from my critique.
I like it, a lot. Electronica isn't high on my list of music I enjoy listening to, but your tracks are so soothing and easy to listen too. The one thing I really like is how you were able to keep a smooth flow when adding and removing elements from your music.
All in all, excellent job OP.

Thanks! :)
Got some really nice atmosphere in these tracks. Reminds me a bit of M83, got sort of that retro synth vibe.
