Title says it all.
what games are you wanting to play? do you already have a monitor? if so, what resolution? do you have any other peripherals from your old system that you can recycle (keyboard, mouse, DVD/CD drive)?
I want to run games like Oblivion on max settings and Crysis on pretty high settings. I'm looking for a Gaming PC under $800 MY old computer crapped out. I have a 32' screen I forget the resolution and yes I have a keyboard/mouse/hard drive/cd drive

You would have far more success in PC Building Check the resolution of your monitor, and do you mean 32 inch's or 32 centimeters?
Moved to PC Building.
DO you want as OS?
I want windows 7 as an OS. My resolution is 1600 x 900 Currently have: Mouse Keyboard Hard drive Monitor (1600 x 900)
I want to run games like Oblivion on max settings and Crysis on pretty high settings.
I run Crysis maxed out at about 50 fps and Oblivion maxed out at about 20-30 fps with a GTX 460. It is not possible to run Oblivion without lag, even with optimisation mods.

Nah bro, BFG PSU is bueno. But yes, you could/should throw in the modxstream.
oh wow, sorry, I thought I saw some no-name one that ones good
ghostofme it appears the ram is out of stock in your build could you please put in a different ram?
BFG PSUs are good. Go with Ghostofme's build.
I'm trying to go with ghostofme's build but the ram is out of stock and I don't know how to change it. Never used newegg.
I'm trying to go with ghostofme's build but the ram is out of stock and I don't know how to change it. Never used newegg.
? The RAM for my build is still in-stock bro.
This might be a stupid question but what causes games to lag a graphics card or RAM? In my old computer I had 4 GB RAM and a Nvidia GeForce 9600. Would this pc that you built be better or sort of the same? Basically will I be able to turn the graphics up a little higher then before?
It depends on what the RAM and graphics card is. In this case, it is the graphics card. 9600 is crap.
BFG PSUs are good. Go with Ghostofme's build.
BFG have gone under now so they wont repair any broken goods. Bad idea to buy them now.
