Mine http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=16946468 what do you think i should fix or is that good? Budget updated to 2,300$ my mom pitched in! :3: Country is usa
Why are you buying XP and Windows 7? Regardless, I can tell you that the ASUS monitor is great, had mine for over 6-months and it's still really bright. No fading in or anything, and no back-light bleeding. Plus the different modes of screen settings are really nifty. However I'd recommend getting a separate set of speakers because the monitor speakers kind of blow. You also don't really need the Sata cables since the ASUS motherboard comes with them. At least two I think which should be enough.
I forgot speakers? [editline]02:52AM[/editline]
Why are you buying XP and Windows 7? Done
I would drop one of the operating systems or slightly downgrade something else to get a 5850 or 5870.
bose is overpriced

OP: You can do much better, I would make you a build but it's 2:00 AM, wait for john or for me to wake up, probably 6-8 hours.
bah you could get a much better built than what you have now for 2100 but i cba to make one now

I doubt the Prolimatech Megahalem is going to arrive to NewEgg soon. It's been deactivated twice. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. I say get a different Mouse and Keyboard, one for UBER gaming :). I heard the Sidewinder set is pretty good. I recommend NOT getting speakers, and getting a wireless headset ;D

Roccat Kone Gaming Mouse - http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Mice/ROCCAT-Kone/ Roccat Kave Headset - http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Sound/ROCCAT-Kave/ Roccat Arvo Keyboard - http://www.roccat.org/Products/Gaming-Keyboards/ROCCAT-Arvo/ I've had many different gaming gear and Roccat is the best.

I'm not impressed at all...it's just a small keyboard with three programmable buttons.
He can choose his own. I only recommended what he should change.
Eh, I took what we wanted, such as two hard drives and such. Otherwise, me and you have almost the same build. [editline]03:02PM[/editline] http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153039 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175104 I personally would get those two products. I can't say much about the keyboard but I like the mouse since I'm using it.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001317 Just posting a nicer monitor for his build whichever one he gets.
Whichever build you get I would highly recommend getting two monitors. After you use a dual monitor setup for a few days you will never want to go back.
Personally I would recommend a tri monitor setup if he is doing any gaming because otherwise the cross hairs are right on edge of 2 screens.
I wasn't thinking of gaming over both, just sticking to one for gaming but having both for other stuff. On that topic though how would you recommend getting a game to stretch over three monitors (ATI)?
I wasn't thinking of gaming over both, just sticking to one for gaming but having both for other stuff. On that topic though how would you recommend getting a game to stretch over three monitors (ATI)?
I think ATI's Eyefinity is suppose to do that.

Which means each card can hook up to 3 monitors. With eyefinity windows treats all the monitors as one giant monitor.
I think ATI's Eyefinity is suppose to do that.
Oh duh, that was a stupid question. Just need to get a monitor with displayport now apparently.
