• Thinking about getting a new MP4 player.

I've been doing some looking around for a new MP4 player (after my last 2 got sat on by me, and the screen broke :argh:), and I'm wondering if anyone here has a recomendation for such a product. Things I'm looking for - Max 50 euro (75 dollars). - Decent built and sound quality. - Must have atleast 2GB of storage. - Must have video function which can play movie(clip)s with a decent framerate. - In built radio preferred. - Earphones and such not needed, I've got my own in-ear pair right here. - Must be available to ship to the Netherlands. I've been keeping an eye on this one: http://www.lightinthebox.com/4GB-2-8-inch-Touch-Screen-Mp3---MP4-Player---Digital-Camera-M4008_p20363.html Yes, it's from china. But I've been looking around for the same device, and other retailers are asking up to $160 for it. Whilst I'm quite wary of Chinese shenigans, I am quite tempted as they do seem professional. I might stretch the budget a tiny bit, but I can't go much further than 50 euro's to be honest right now. Oh, and I'll be more carefull where I put those MP4 players next time  Thanks in advance!
OP, the player you have your eye one doesn't play MP4 format. Only MP1,2,3,WMA, and WAV. If you're alright with that...it means nothing from iTunes will work.
Don't worry where it is made, as long as it is from an industrialized country. Anyway, I wouldn't say to get an Iphone or Ipod touch because of the price, and it is not very strong. However, I would recommend an older version of Ipod. Look at your local store! Most likely Best Buy, Walmart, or another reliable store. You should wait until Black Friday (depending on where you live) and get a nice one for cheap, but careful, a lot of the newer ones that have a ton of storage and fancy will break easily. Good luck and hope this helps.

Basically, every store cleans out once in a while of ~3 month old stuff, and then replaces it with newer products. So no old versions of anything. Anyone got some advice on whether or not to buy the MP4 player from the link?
Do you care what format to use for videos?
Do you care what format to use for videos?
Well, as long as it uses some kind of mainstream format (AVI) then I don't care no.

Well I really think you won't be satisfied with that one because it's format lack. However I am sure if you browse the internet you can find a nice one. I'll look for you so expect a post in a minute. Another thing- What country are you from?

You should go with that one in the link then. It isn't THAT bad. Besides, you can convert songs that don't work for it. On itunes, there is an option for mp3's to have a wav copy. I forget how to do it though, but it's pretty easy.
We don't have a Black Friday in my country. What's that you're talking about?
=( Well then the one in the link is your best bet. I didn't look good a first, but I checked again. For what your looking for it is nice. Don't eat it though, it might have lead in it.....haha jk. Hope this helps.

It even takes photo's if you needed them.
Added to my Christmas list =D
Make sure to order in time due to shipping times. atleast 2-3 weeks ahead due to them doing quality controls over it. They take up to 7 days, and 5-7 days for standard shipping.
Or because, y'know, it's from China.
Oh you :holy: Atleast, that's what the FAQ says.
My Sansa Fuze is great, it's exactly what you're after. However you do need to run videos through Sansa's converter. Doesn't take long and you can add videos to a queue.
Id say blow your guns and get the new Ipod Nano, I did and im happy. 16GB, Camera, Radio, Video playback, Speaker, and loads of other cool stuff. I got mine for £142 but you can get an 8 GB for £90. I suggest it
You really want one of these, don't you: On a more serious note you're probably better off saving up for a touch / nano
AAC isn't mainstream?

Any advantages over it? And I can't go over the 50 euro limit basically. It's for my christmas wishlist and if I make this too expensive it's only gonna be a 1 present limit. That's why I think the one in the OP is the best bang for buck  Still taking in suggestions happily though!
