AN innocent couple’s home has been wrongly raided for the 41st time – just days after police pledged it would never happen again.
Matthew Jillard and Claire Hayes told last week how they have suffered 18 months of their home being mixed up with another 100 yards away.
Police promised them they had fixed the problem – but blundering officers made the same error at the weekend.
Now the couple, who have never been in trouble with the law, have vowed to move.
Office worker Claire, 42, said: “This was the final straw. They apologised but I feel the only thing we can do is move house.

“I spent an entire day talking to the Independent Police Complaints Commission and they promised me it wouldn’t happen again because a computer marker had been put on our house to stop a future mix-up.
“They seem incapable of solving this problem.”
Police keep confusing the couple’s home in Repton Road, Birmingham, with one round the corner in Repton Grove. Matthew, 38, was once confronted by 10 officers in bullet-proof vests.
Officers also banged on the door twice on Christmas Day.
They later apologised with flowers. But handyman Matthew, who took photos of the police after the latest raid on Saturday morning, said: “We’ve been renting this house for 10 years but we’re definitely moving. I fear one day armed police are going to come flying through.”
Last night West Midlands police said: “Despite measures put in place to prevent such an occurrence, it appears human error has led to officers attending the incorrect address. We will be contacting them to apologise and discuss the matter further.”
It'd be funny if they moved into the house that the police were meant to raid.
How could they fucking do this 41 motherfucking times?!
So fucking unorganized
Human error? Fire their ass or something
he should sue or something idk
Those cops don't have long nor short term memory or what?
Raiding the same house 2 times a day?
Put a sign on the door:
"Dear police officer, you have the wrong house, for the 43rd time, you are looking for Repton Grove not Repton Road, thanks."
Imagine watching TV and cops just rush in.
Wouldn't they notice the 2nd time if they had raided it once before? Jesus fuck.
A better question is what the hell are they doing in the other house to have police raid them 41 times.

This not America.
Imagine watching TV and cops just rush in.
Imagine this happening during every episode of a show.
This is worse than those dumb shit cops from Police Academy that walked into the Blue Oyster again and again.. and that was a movie.
This is why people think the police are morons or assholes, because of THESE ASSHOLES OR MORONS!
I don't really believe this story. Wouldn't roughly the same officers be conducting the raid each time and after the 10th time or so they'd have memorised the house, area and address? I don't know..
Now the couple, who have never been in trouble with the law, have vowed to move.
To hell with that, sue the everloving fuck out of the department
the other house wouldn't have to be raided 41 times if the cops had GOT IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
42nd time lucky eh guys?
I thought the 41 raids was a joke.
Turns out I was wrong, wow.
What bothers me more is the fact they've had to raid one house 41 times to begin with.
How do you fuck up 41 times, especially something with so much consequence. So confusing.
Whoever is in the house that was meant to be raided should probably stop doing whatever illegal activity they are currently doing, because obviously they aren't doing it right.
Luck is on their side, I guess.
Read bungling and instantly thought

This is rediculous, I have this image of "bungling" police offices tripping over each other and the couple that lives their shaking their heads at them, "Oh you've done it again" and everyone has a laugh... meanwhile in the background the real criminals (wearing striped clothing) sneak past with their crate of meth lab equipment.
I'm pretty sure the bad guys left the real house after the 21st or 22nd time...
I can imagine the husband screaming "For fuck sakes!" out loud when they heard police was coming to visit for 35th time or earlier/later.

"Hey where was the house we were supposed to raid?"
"I don't know, lets just pick one out of a hat and go with it"
