• I am going to pay you to convert my models

Hey fp, so I am a cinema 4D user and I sell my models at turbosquid. Problem is, most of my models have not been sold for quite some time now. One of the reasons they are not really selling is because the majority of the people interested use 3D Studio Max. I am honestly quite a bit shit at max and I am quite bored learning it only for this task. I need these models converted and I thought I would ask here. I need only ONE of you. Here's what you must be able to do: i) You have to be abe to convert .c4d to .max format ii) You have to know how HyperNURBS works and be able to achieve the same result in MAX, meaning you have to be able to select how smooth you want a model in Max and achieve about the same result you can achieve with HyperNURBS in cinema 4d. Don't really know how this works so bear with me if I am not making much sense... iii) You need to be able to mimic my materials to look exaclty the same in 3D Studio MAX's renderer as well as Max's vray. iv) Don't forget textures. v) You need to be able to produce almost the same model shots as I have in order for you to get payed. Here are my models: http://www.turbosquid.com/Search/?keyword=stathisnhx&sort_column=A7&sort_order=desc Price: 4$ 5$ This is what offer in terms of price, if you think you can do it post in this thread some related to my models work that you have done. Don't forget knowing your way around Vray and Cinema 4D as well as having both of them installed is a must. Also post if you have any questions, etc. Thanks. [editline]29th December 2012[/editline] or if you are interested you can send me a PM with your work
real talk if you sell 3d work then you should know better than to ask for people on fp to do things as simple as conversions. in the time it took you to decide to make this thread, type it and post it you could have learned what you need to do on your own with just google.

But saying with just a few hours of messing around with MAX I will be able to achieve the same quality renders and models as those I posted in this thread is (in my opinion) not possible. I do not even own max, and I don't have the time and will to do it as I am studying for uni. I haven't even modeled for almost a year, except one-two little cases here and there.
you can get max for free for 3 years with a uni email address
Right now, I don't care about 3D modelling. This is why I am offering the money.
You're asking skilled artists to do work for you for what'll end up being less than minimum wage. If I was gonna do the job for a flat rate it'd probably $25 minimum, and that's already undercharging.
As doggy put it, this is nothing hard. Therefore with this thread I am not targeting "skilled artists" but rather people with some knowledge on both these programs. This is not "work" for me, I am not asking you to do my homework, or handle my office while I will be busy having fun. It is more like "I finished my report can you print it for me?". You talk about minimum wage, this is no job, no serious work. It's a one hour deal for someone who knows what he's doing. Shit guys, I thought you would help me.
99.9% of humans don't know how to convert models from Cinema 4D to 3DS Max. It requires a background in computers, specifically 3D work, and even more specifically those particular programs. That is skilled labor, and it costs a lot more money than unskilled labor.

Anyway seeing how nobody is going to help, can a mod please lock this?
