I wanted to clean my case, but when i plugged everything back, it does get power and turns on, but nothing happens, no video signal, no hdd activity

Does your motherboard speaker beep? Are there any indicator lights if it doesn't have a speaker to tell you what's going on? If it doesn't detect and show you an indication that the RAM has been removed (either a RAM beep or some kind of an LED indicator) then chances are your motherboard is shot.
I think the mobo is the problem, i've installed all compatible parts to a older(7 year old) mobo, it seems to work, but it randomly shuts down [editline]21st March 2015[/editline] Oh the following is caused by bad cpu cooling, will check the heatsink
ok, resolved it somehow, maybe it was a bad power button pin placement or something i'm all good
