You can definitely notice a section in this song where I completely ran out of inspiration. C&C and all that would be appreciated.
Pretty chill, I like it!
Thanks. I don't exactly see why its chill, but thanks.
Good song, absolutely loved the drums and rythym guitar. There are a few things (in my opinion) I would change though. The intro is a bit too long. I know it is supposed to build suspense or something, but two minutes of fill before the main attraction makes it hard to hold my attention, especially in an 11 minute song. The lead guitar isn't too exciting, it sort of follows the same pattern for most of the song, and doesn't sound very strong. And when you go from 1 section to another it sometimes sounds nice, and other times it sounds forced. Of course, I don't know what you were aiming for, so all of this is just speculation. There are parts that lose my attention, but overall this is pretty good, especially compared to what I can do.

I've never before gotten any criticism for long intros before, but I understand if you can find it a bit boring, and yeah, the point of the long intro is to build suspense and make the song much more satisfying once it finally kicks in. I'm not exactly sure what you mean with lead guitar, since I usually just use 2 guitars, equally lead/rhythm. On the transitions, yeah, I agree that some are really forced, since like I notified in the OP, I ran out of inspiration after around 3 minutes of this song, which is why it took me so long to finish and why it sounds really meh at times. Again, thanks for the feedback, I'll always appreciate any kind of criticism.
What the hell do you use for this? This doesn't sound anything like GuitarPro 5's RSE. This sounds really good. :v: [editline]fish[/editline] The riff at 3:30 is bitching.

Did the RSE really improve that much between GuitarPro 5 and 6? Wow. I may have to look into GP6. Are they any other major changes between 5 and 6, that you know of? I'm also debating putting these 7 full tracks I've done in GP5 onto soundcloud and making a thread about them... Yeah, I think I will. They're nothing really exceptional, but there's no use just letting them gather cyberdust on my hard-drive. Though I may get GP6 and re-record them using GP6's RSE. :v:

The minus side is that the layout is horrible. Not just bad, but really horrible. However, after some time, you get used to it. Also, if you're thinking about uploading a bunch of GP5 tracks on Soundcloud, upload them with their original midi sound instead of the RSE. That way its MUCH more enjoyable.
Really? MIDI is more enjoyable? Really? Most people I know absolutely hate MIDI sounds. Granted, most people aren't huge fans of RSE, either, but most people would prefer RSE to MIDI. :v:
I like this. It's as though you set a gear and just go with it. I do agree that the original midi sounds were better though.

When you work with GP5's RSE on FP, you'll only get whining about how horrible it sounds.
I like this. It's as though you set a gear and just go with it. I'm guessing you composed it while it played?
I'm guessing you composed it while it played?
Nope, I just ran out of inspiration :v:
This would be really awesome if you got it played.
SO cool when it gets started :3 I love it! EDIT: Very RATM-esque
That you wrote this on Guitar Pro i'm already impressed. I really liked it, dont have that much complaints. Though I do have some. It gets a bit repetitive at times especially when you're introducing a new guitar line over chord changes we heard before. And I see you lost inspiration doing transitions. or you rushed it. To be honest, you could shaved some bars and made a better song. 7:57 to 9:20 I would've left just that lead line instead of playing the backing before and after. The lead line is great btw. You should have cut out the whole ending and left that lead line as an epic outro. A 9 minute song is still as cool as a 12 minute song. Other than that great job!
This would be really awesome if you got it played.
Well I've always hoped to hear one of my songs played with real instruments.
