So post: 1) Do you smoke? and 2) If so/not then why and any views. Rules: 1- No more of the "causes cancer" shit, everyone knows that already. 2- No "Your stupid because you smoke". I know its bad for me but so is almost everything you do. 3- Smoking tobacco only! NO WEED FUCKTARDS HERE PLEASE. 4- Don't be a dick to others. Everyone gets to post your point. I'll go first: Yes I do smoke. I started when I was about 16, I'm 18 years old now. I had never thought about it before, but I always quite liked the smell. So when I was old enough I went out and bought a pack and tried it, it was pretty good! A bit harsh on the throat at first but I quite liked it. During the winter it made me feel warmer and in the summer it felt relaxing to smoke after a BBQ. A few weeks after I started smoking, I switched to rolling tobacco. Although you have to spend time rolling it, it doesn't take long. I found that rolling tobacco has a smoother taste and doesn't hurt your throat as much as it contains less chemicals. What I will say is, don't ever feel like you need to smoke, it's not for everyone. For example my ex-girlfriend used to love the smell of smoke but hated smoking. The number one thing I hate the most is seeing underage kids in school uniforms smoking. Nothing pisses me off more about how disrespectful they look. So, FPers, whats your views? A bit - socially. I never do it by myself.
I've been smoking for almost 2 years now.
I'm smoking at this second actually. Hah, just lit a snuff then spotted this thread. Anyway... I started smoking when I was... 13 and I'm 17 now. My views on it is that it can actually help with your stress levels if you do it right. I smoke after I eat, smoke when I wake up, smoke after I masturbate, and smoke after I get out of school and some time in between. The only bad thing is that it costs a lot of money over time; and it doesn't help that the prices keep shooting up. With the smell, I don't smell it because I'm used to it but people I know don't really appreciate it.
I used to smoke, for a little while, but I wasn't an addict and so I stopped when I got caught by the parents. I started smoking again for a few months this year after I had a dream in which I smoked a very very nice cigarette, but I stopped again. I wouldn't want to smoke now, but it is strange that in almost every dream I have I am smoking cigarettes!
I am. Though I am quittting.
No weed fucktards? Closed minded from a cigarette smoker. Dolt.
I smoke no more than 10 a day during the week. On a night out I'll get through 20 just in that night but I really want to quit, every time I spark up I know I should quit but most of my friends smoke so it would be hard if I'm stuck inside whilst they're all outside having a fag.
Don't smoke, as for the why: It's fun to smoke when you're 13-14 when it's "cool" and "rebel" to smoke, but when you get to 16-17 (at least where I live) it's nothing special except you're fucking your lungs.
I mean, people say that you can get addicted to smoking so easily. But my parents hate me smoking in and around the house, so during my pre-exams I would study pretty much all day at home and wouldn't smoke for like 2 weeks. The weird thing is I couldn't care less about not being able to smoke. But what I am addicted to is the routine of smoking. I was so used (exams means college is over) to smoking at lunch and in the morning after I start up my car. My most favourite cigarette of the day is after a hefty meal. I love that feeling. Also a bit of neurochemistry for you. Nicotine is infact a very beneficial neurotransmitter for your brain. If you smoke a cigarette quickly you'll feel like your caffinated. This is because the nicotine is actually upping your concentration levels for a short period of time. But, when smoked slowly nicotine seems to give a slight sedative effect that feels relaxing and makes you feel chilled out. Which is why some prefer to smoke after having sex or eating a delicious meal. But I dunno about you guys but in America does anyone smoke "rollies" ? Like rolled tobacco? I went back to Ecuador in south america and found that you couldn't buy rolling tobacco and no one knew what it was. Is it the same in the States? And what is the age that you can smoke in the states? In the U.K. the age of smoking was 16 traditionally but now its 18, the same age as being able to drink alcahol.
I don't smoke, although I have spent so much time around people who do that I seem to get sudden urges to try now and then. If other people want to smoke then by all means let them.
Quitting soonish, started 16, 17 now.
I don't smoke because I have sense. I don't want to kill myself you see.
I don't, I used to despise anyone who smokes or drank anything. But now I really don't care, especially with weed. I wouldn't do any of those things though, not 'cause I hate them though. They aren't really my thing though.

I start zoning in and out and I get tired. It sucks; I know I'm addicted. My dad smokes so my parents don't mind me smoking in or around the house.. Hell, I smoke in my room. My mom doesn't think me smoking is good and keeps trying to get me to quit, but I don't want to really.
