While it does look pretty cool. I bet it will end up fairly weak and knowing Razer's ability to overprice everything it will most likely cost as much as a high end gaming rig.
The guy at the end totally sounds like he's reading straight off of a sheet of paper.
that video is a fucking joke
the guy is talking like it's a fucking parody or something
I like how they boast about it being so powerful, how it was a good move to use the Intel Atom CPU and all that and show off superiorly powerful resource hogging games like... World of Goo... World of Warcraft... Warcraft III... aaaand Quake......

Yeah, I love how fucking serious he tries to sound.
So uh, where's the revolution in pc gaming I was told to see in the title?
I accidentally bought a razor mousemat.
It turned out to be a thin piece of paper that you stuck to your desk. Literally a piece of paper. It was about £20.
It came with a certificate of authenticity. The paper the certificate was printed on was thicker than the mousemat. I think that sums up what razor are about. They're trying to be the new fata1ity.
It's a piece of paper with a reflective surface, at least
Razer products are overpriced pieces of Chinese crap.

How does one accidentally buy a piece of paper for £20?
I think razer make nice products. They're overpriced sure but they're really nice and do their job.
But eh, this is facepunch. As soon as the first person states his opinion then people hop on to the newly formed bandwagon
That keyboard looks interesting, but the overall thing does not seem like a great idea...

You sure you didn't mistake the mousemat for the printed invoice?
The idea is probably to make room for the mouse. A portable mouse would probably be a good idea.
Why not? You just need a flat surface. If you don't have one, just use the touchscreen.

Playing on a "normal" keyboard with only thumbs? I'm sorry but I like to keep my left hand parked over wasd shift control and space and my right hand on my mouse.
There's a reason gamepads were designed the way they were - because you have to hold them - you always use at least 2 fingers and most of your palm to hold the controller

should have bought steelseries
Funny how this thing claims to be a gaming netbook yet there's no touchpad or any pointing devices for that matters, only a cheap Optimus Maximus-like keyboard and a screen
The screen is a multitouch surface.
This is probably going to be a massive failure and won't replace gaming laptops but I gotta say that keyboard is pretty cool, although the final product will most likely be nowhere near like that.
I want a keyboard like that.
I want that Asian man's voice
He sounds like a former Yakuza
should have bought steelseries
I've been using the same steelseries mousepad (I think it's a qck or something) for about three years and it is the nicest fucking thing I have ever bought for a computer. When it wears out completely I'm getting five more.
I also hated how the asian guy was talking it up like it was the next jesus
Huh. It's like a portable Optimus Maximus.

If you liked Razer on Facebook, they uploaded a 13 second video of a pan around a working model being shown at CES. From the looks of the glare on each key, it's a physical transparent keyboard with a LCD screen underneath it.

I was hoping there was at least a little plastic grid to cover up the spaces in-between but guessed as much

So it's a laptop with a fancy (read: gimmicky) keyboard and a "reason" for not having a mouse
coo

Wait you can't even play any of the games shown without a mouse

We've said this plenty of times, you don't NEED a mouse. The screen is full multi-touch!

do you really think they were playing QUAKE without a mouse
QUAKE
[editline]6th January 2011[/editline]
